Whether you are in the market for buying a new car or you’re a know it all car addict, ContactCars is a great app that will help you find car prices, old or new it’s all there. The first version released Sep 7, 2010 only had a few features, but soon after in Dec 15, 2010 version 2.0 came out with some more features, and retina display support for iPhone 4 and iOS 4 multitasking.
ContactCars is ranked #176 overall, and #11 under lifestyle category on the Egyptian App store it ranked 1st free app upon it’s initial release.
The core of ContactCars for the iPhone is that it utilizes the real estate of the large iPhone screen unlike previous WAP versions which deliver a poor experience when compared with iPhone.
When you first launch ContactCars app you get a main screen with all the car brands, sometimes it takes your eyes a while to catch the car model you’re looking for, but you can search for it also, when tapping on the car manufacturer icon you get a nice animation transitioning to a list of different models with an image. Tapping on a specific car gives you all the details, including and most importantly an installments calculator, this is really handy for making your buying decision.

Yet another GPS app with the infamous Cairo map from Teleatlas. But what is unique here is that it’s the first good one on the app store for Egypt. One should not expect the same quality as European maps, Egypt has just entered the GPS market as of late, due to the government ban. The price is steep for an app, Ndrive Egypt will set you back EGP 385 ($70). Although using your iPhone as a GPS is a different story, you might want to consider an independent GPS hardware, like Garmin etc… Continue reading »

In my opinion it’s been quite stable, it’s a feature rich and brilliant usability. Continue reading »
