Oh boy, looks like the battle is on! Both devices look similar but run completely different platforms. However, since the HP Slate device runs a full-fledged OS (Windows 7), the ability to run Adobe Flash/Air might also be a major deciding factor over which device will gain more popularity among future customers.
I’m a heavy user and let’s face it; our iPhone’s battery is inadequate. Take it from someone who has 2 chargers at home, a car charger, several iPhone USB cables and a portable external charger (called iPwr). When I found out that Apple would be releasing the iPad, I got pretty excited and decided I would most likely buy one. I could already imagine where and how I would use it. However, I was torn over whether I should go for the 3G or non-3G (WiFi only) model.
I have been reviewing this forum for quiet some time now, and I noticed that most of you are looking for a voice activated GPS application. After some research, I came across the iGo application for the iphone. Well, it doesnt have all the features that the Ndrive or Tomtom offer. However, it does the job!
