Long time without a post, though I see many are commenting on previous.

Some may use this App already, but for those who don’t, I thought I’d share a neat find I had last week.  While the “Mail” App on your MAC is an RSS reader, I have recently stopped using that for my mail, making it pointless as an RSS reader.  And, Mail didn’t have any syncing options (maybe with MobileME, but I don’t have a subscription, nor do I want one.)  So, I came across a neat little program called Net News Wire.  Net News Wire is great because it runs through the News Gator company.  You download that App (for free!) and install it on your MAC and create an account.  You’ll see they’ve automatically put some GREAT feeds in there for you, including several Apple specific sites.

Great–now we have an RSS reader on our MAC.  The fun doesn’t stop there.  They also offer a free App for the iPhone in the App Store.  Simply search “Net News Wire” in the App store, download and sign-in and you have access to all the same feeds.  And they tell you which ones you’ve marked read and which ones are still unread.

Lastly, if you’re like me, and have to work on a PC (they have a program for PC as well,) and can’t download anything, or want to check the feeds at a public computer, all you have to do is go to the NewsGator site and login there and you have the reader in a browser window.

Use this for news sites, blogs, Egyptian Apple, anything to which you can subscribe via RSS.  Hope it’s helpful!
