The dev team announced yesterday that they already unlocked OS 3.0 and it will work on any phone with no regards to boot loader or anything and that they are currently testing the pwnage tool and quickpwn for itunes 8.2 and will play a live demo of unlocking the 3.0 OS.

these are great news, if apple doesnt do any last minute changes..in their 3.0 firmware BaseBand..

do you know when quickpwn will be released… ? I thought the same day apple releases the 3.0 FW..the Dev-Team will release their tools…!!!
on the other hand it is still the same day in the STATES…

Hallo everyone, Jal I think the Dev-Team have already jailbreak the 3.0 FW (beta). However, this means that the quickpwn 2.5 should work with the official release from Apple very smoothly.
The question is does the Ultrasn0w going to be released as soon as today
??
In addition, I’ve read that the quickpwn 2.5 doesn’t work with some people as it supposes to be, which is weird !!

a Quickpwn Beta version is expected today according to the Dev team,
the complete version will follow soon after..
Ultrasn0w has been ready for sometime… But the delay is because of some problems with YouTube app.. So far..
If they fix it today, we all will have a jailbreak with ultrasn0w this weekend
I hope they succeed tonight..

Yah, I’ve been waiting for not less than 9 hours to unlock my phone, but there this no new news about the Ultrasn0w or Quickpwn3.0 (the official release) until now.
Hopefully today (June 19th) the Ultrasn0w will be released + Quickpwn.

it is officially out now but only for Mac users…the Pwnage tool only..
quickpwn for windows will follow…..
So, Mac Users… you can download it from the Dev-Team blog..or iclarified.com

redsn0w is out now , it jailbreaks ipod touch 1st gen ,2nd gen , iphone 3g and also unlocks iphone 1st gen.

My 3G is running a jailbroken 3.0 FW now and just awiting the final touch of perfection..I meant the ultrasn0w to unlock it..
Cydia is back and skype is making calls over 3G..
What else can I ask for..
