biteSMS
It’s difficult for some folks to grasp the concept of getting a phone where everything is tailored, but once they do, they’ll finally get what makes the iPhone that special; you can have it all by time, and it never gets outdated!
The SMS forwarding, and individual message manipulation in general, have been of wide concern and are considered to be one of the major drawbacks of iPhones; however, until Apple officially allows that feature we can always turn to 3rd Party applications such as biteSMS. 
Where to get it:
Prerequisite:
- Jailbroken Phone
Getting it:
- Install biteSMS from Cydia under SMS category
How it works:
- Open the application, which has an identical interface to that of the regular SMS app
- Just for the first time, you will need to modify the settings for it to work in Egypt
- Choose Compose Message (Top Right)
- Select the text area and click on the arrow that appears between it and the keypad
- Make sure that Send SMS Messages via: has the option Mobile Carrier selected
- Save the settings by going back (Top left backward arrow)
- Now you can manipulate SMS text by doing the following:
- Open the conversation that includes the message you want to Forward or Delete
- Wipe your finger from left to right on that text and choose the option you want
- Done!

each time i open the biteSMS it closes automatic

Ireal SMS is better and it’s totally free the only difference between the registered and the demo that is the demo will have u wait for 30 sec before sending some SMS, plus ireal SMS let u insert contacats cards and stuff

Yes true Dr. Nose, but the only bad thing about it, is that it screws up the SMS counter… I had my messages -1 and -2 until i removed it and restored my SMS DB…
But i think they fixed that with the final version, can you confirm cuz i want to use it again?

iPhone SMS applications rank as follows in my book:
1. iRealSMS:
(pros: plenty of options, exc. layout, large text input area; cons: crashed once)
2. BiteSMS:
(pros: option to buy credit & send via bitesms, decent layout; cons: see below)
3. MySMS
(pros: better looking than default sms app !; cons: 30 sec. delay if not cracked, very dull layout)
As for BiteSMS’s cons, I was very very pleased with it despite concurrently dying to get iRealSMS reinstalled & working again. Anyway I sent 1 msg from BiteSMS to 4 friends .. one of them replied instantly .. and i replied back to his msg only .. next thing i know the other three called me asking what was that reply about .. !!!! after i hung up with them i checked the application and apparently it does not single out one reply recipient although it shows its doing so.
So farewell to a basic function of any decent SMS application. next thing to do >> remove BiteSMS … delete .ipa from HDisk and iRealSMS is still on top…

hey abbas can you please tell me how to use irealSMS?
i downloaded it and cracked it,my ipod is 3.1
bas messages are stuck in the outbox :S!
