Ok first of all happy Eid everyone, just came back from Istanbul and iPhones are everywhere

Yes, I agree it’s frustrating and if it were any place other than Egypt, they would’ve applied a refund policy in some means such as points or even cash.
It happened to me when i bought my first iPhone.. had it from the states as soon as it was first out, then the price dropped form the alleged $600 to half or something. However, there was a cash refund policy, only i wasn’t legal so i never got to that point
Anyway point is, I think u should collect a bunch of people who share ur situation, have a facebook group or sth and contact them demanding some sort of compensation for “pioneer” buyers such as urself even if it is with the monthly plan.

Actually we can start the petition here since we are the official apple fan site in egypt, that might make ur appeal more “scary”.. so i’ll post a thread where people can sign and i’ll see to it that we raise it to the right people there..
but go ahead with ur group on facebook so that we can market the petition anyway
