I found this freeware…tried it and the result is just great!!!
Converts DVD, and also many other video formats

It’s simple and there are presets for the output format so no need to be an expert….
Get the GUI files about 6MB depending on your computer platform, all available…
(windows, Apple, Linux….etc)
