One of the hideous features of Macs that I used to cover up on when asked was the poor browsing capabilities of photos.. Or so some of us thought!

Because the default program for opening pictures is preview, we had to depend on its lack of keyboard shortcuts and had to use it’s drawer functionality… Or just use other photo manipulation software… The thing is there’s a trivial and wonderful way without any programs… Your space bar!

I used a free program called Xee to browse through my photos until today a friend tipped me on this trivial, yet crucial, trick… And life certainly makes much more sense since then! Continue reading »

Google’s Mobile Application surprises us with one of the most powerful search engines not only on the web, but in our lives!

The app extends it’s basic function of searching the web and actually looks through our phone’s contacts, pictures, documents, and practically anything available on the iPhone. It also provides a customized search based on one’s location. What’s most intriguing however is the added voice recognition feature that allows us to verbally query our requests.
