On an earlier post of mine on how to conserve battery power for the iPhone, I talked about how I found out that an unknown program on my phone was uploading data without my permission. I evidenced that when I my battery power was insufficient to complete the day (even with charging fully twice), and my phone started to CONTINUOUSLY buzz when I passed it near any speakers, my bills were increasing with the same amount of daily data usage, and I bought a program from the App Store called “Download Meter” that showed me how the GPRS/3G connection always has an increasing number of upload without me doing any net-related activities.
